I guess there's something I am missing here, there must be a small thing that has to be done specifically / properly timed? I was trying the whole stuff with the key initially being in place, but I guess that can be the issue. If I keep holding the two buttons for loads of seconds, there's one small beep after about 10 seconds, but if I turn off the ignition, the alarm turns on with the increasingly beeping sound.
